In order to ensure an effective and coordinated approach to your overall health care, it is important that we receive all relevant medical records from you or the referring physician prior to your appointment. Emergency calls will be handled immediately, while less urgent calls will be returned as soon as possible. A staff of triage nurses is available to answer your questions and relay information to our physician, as appropriate. Our telephone policies are structured to allow our physicians to care for the patients in the office with a minimum of interruptions. Please allow 24 hours for the request to be approved. To refill your prescription by ERx, simply contact your pharmacist and they will take care of submitting an electronic request to our office for approval. We are pleased to offer our patients the convenience of electronic prescription refills (ERx). If there is an abnormal result for your Pap test or mammogram, you will be contacted in order to arrange your physician’s follow-up plan. Normal mammogram results are communicated to both the physician and the patient by the hospital. Test ResultsĪt the time of the visit, patients will be given a phone number to call for Pap results. Our practice is HIPAA compliant and all information is strictly confidential. Additionally, you may be asked to complete a medical information form. We suggest you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so you can complete a patient information form and sign an authorization for release of medical information, as well as provide insurance information. ![]() If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us immediately so we may reschedule your visit. After becoming certified, her manager sent her to the OBGYN office at Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center to act as an interpreter for young Spanish women. In 2019, Monica was certified by our ministry as a medical interpreter. I am not able to visit family back in Ecuador that often, but I do have a sister who comes to visit me.” “When I first came to the states I was in New York. “I grew up in Ecuador and came to the states at a very young age… 22,” Monica says. Monica joined the Bon Secours team in 2013 after making the decision to return to work after her husband suffered a debilitating stroke. “Hispanic Heritage Month is the celebration of the contributions that Hispanic people have given to society, especially here in America,” she shares. Monica appreciates that these contributions are recognized, especially during Hispanic Heritage Month. She also has a positive impact on the daily work of her fellow team members.
